Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former twice world heavyweight champion Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
Despite such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally recognized for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather targeted former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Still, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's greatest financial successes, regularly earning substantial paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in rounds four or five and asserted he would derail the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul participated in the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it highlighted just how improbable this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is really happening.
